We aren’t quite back to normal after the Covid-19 pandemic. But we will try our best to keep you updated about what’s normal and what’s not at each step of the reopening of services.
17/5/21 – We have begun offering sling services from our room at Little People Farfield Nursery, Cote Lane, Farsley, Leeds LS28 5ED, on Mondays 9am-3pm. You can book sling library services for a small booking fee, or our range of 1-2-1 appointments.
Our Pudsey Sling Library sessions are returning from Friday 11th June 2021 12.15-2.15pm.
We are working on reinstating our sessions in adapted form one by one, in partnership with the venues. As soon as we have news on any session, we will publish on our blog and Facebook page.
Our ethos has always been to offer sling and carrier support to any family needing it, our carrier hire fees have always remained low, and we have always offered independent support with any type or brand of sling or carrier. We are committed to continuing this support virtually and face to face.
CARRIER HIRE
Carrier hire is still available at our standard hire rate. Click here to create a hire account. We can offer collection from Farsley most days, Wakefield on our visiting day once every four weeks or by post. We charge postage at cost but add three extra days free to cover transit time. SUPPORT IN PERSON
Bookable appointments are available for support, advice and fitting face to face in Farsley.
SUPPORT VIRTUALLY
Book your carrier support or recommendation appointment as a zoom call (or other video platform). Fitting and safety checks available with your own carriers on a pay as you feel basis, or team virtual support with postal hire.
CARRIER RETURNS
You are welcome to return your carrier and we have remained open for carrier returns throughout. We can offer three ways to return your hired carrier.
BY APPOINTMENT If you’d like to drop your carrier back with us, we can accept returns most days by appointment at the Sling Library house Farsley. Make an appointment if you have questions, would like to swap your carrier for something new, or would like further support. Beginning 18/9/20 we have returns available at our Wakefield venue once every four weeks on a Friday, booking essential. Safety is a priority with all face to face services and extra precautions will be taken.
USE THE DROP BOX at the sling library house Farsley – this can be used for returns in person any time 24/7. It is a wooden box next to the front door at 55 Thornfield Avenue Farsley Leeds LS285HJ. Please place it inside a sealed plastic bag with your name affixed to the outside.
BY POST Carriers can be returned by post to 55 Thornfield Avenue Farsley Leeds LS28 5HJ. Please choose appropriate postage for the value of the carrier you are returning and include your name inside the package. It is suggested that you allow enough time for the carrier to arrive back with us before your hire runs out.
