How to return a carrier

Thankyou for your rental! Now let’s get it back to us.

First we’d like you to check the carrier over for any problems. Have a look and make sure each buckle fastens, and that there are no marks, stains or other issues. We always appreciate a clean carrier, so a sponge clean of any sucked bits or a wash according to manufacturer’s instructions is great if you have time.

We will safety check and launder the carrier when required on its return no there is no problem if you just drop it back and we will get in touch if needed.

– Return to drop in sessions

Your carrier will always be due back on a day when we are running a drop in session. Usually it will be due back to the place you took it out from, but if it is overdue or out of sequence we may be elsewhere. You can check dates, times and locations by clicking the 2017 Calendar link above. We will always confirm your return by email. The carrier is not considered returned until that confirmation is sent. Usually this will be done in front of you.

– Return by post

Carriers can be returned by post to 55 Thornfield Avenue Farsley Leeds LS285HJ. Postal return is done at your own risk, so you might prefer to protect your return by choosing a registered or insured postage method. Please keep proof of postage in case a problem occurs. Please allow enough time for the carrier to reach us on or before its return date. We will always confirm your return by email. The carrier is not considered returned until that confirmation is sent. We aim to confirm the same day of return.

– Return to sling library house

The sling library is based at 55 Thornfield Avenue Farsley Leeds LS285HJ. You can return to this address any time. If we are available we can process your return straight away. If we are not available, there is a drop box to the right of the front door. Please seal your carrier inside a plastic bag with your name inside if you choose to use the drop box. Please do not leave any money in the drop box. We will always confirm your return by email. The carrier is not considered returned until that confirmation is sent. We aim to confirm the same day of return. Please note the drop box is only available for use at your own risk.

– Renew your carrier

If you can’t make a sling library session, or can’t arrange to bring the carrier back, please contact us to renew your rental. It is easier and cheaper to renew it on time for the period you need to keep it than it is to let it go overdue and incur charges. You can renew by ringing 01132100855 or emailing wyslinglibrary@outlook.com. We can arrange online payment or for you to pay on return.
